Well...nice? Didn't she actually suspect him of having the 9 Opening Gold Elixir and the Dormant Dragon Picture? Didn't she rip his clothes open to check? If she had found it he might be dead. I haven't read past chapter 62 and I am sure they develop feelings for each other later on but...I didn't really get a "nice" vibe from her at this point in the story. More like a "fair and impartial" sort of person, while her little sister who had him whipped was described as sort of "merciless but fair"

lol she is nice at this point, yes the novel might have her attitude as otherwise in later chapters, but she is giving him the chance to break from his servitude
And if she does suspect him of having those two things, you forget she is under the orders of the Sect master to recover those things AND it was originally obtained by his dead master from a demonic sect

Novel wise, she does become his first Dao Compaion, wife I guess, as for the sister, hope she dies a horrible death, she is close to causing Fang Qingxue a lot of grief due to her association with Senior Hua and trying to cause Fang Han's death

I barely remember that. She was one evil ass witch. A jealous hearted one. I didn't finish the novel though. When he ascended he became way too arrogant and changed. This not the first time the author did that in his novels too.

was there any changes in that episode compared to the novel? I finally got round to watching it and the fighting was pretty good. The scene after was a bit annoying though when he went to report his progress because of her sister. I cant wait to see him slap her.

Wasnt that much changes, in many ways it is best there are changes, the author dribbles too much. For example he will describe a the fight, then mentions the platform where the fight is, then writes about who is in charge, and then describe the elder's background, then talks about the sect history in punishments, then go back to the fight, if it was just that it will be find but no, the author does it every time a similar topic comes up, so he will describe what I wrote again and again and again
Ahhh the sister she does get punished by the sect leader much much later on, but she still doesnt learn from it even though she is betrothed to him (sect leader turns her into a cat) at least Fang Qingxue didnt blame Fang Han for the trouble she made, and actually said her sister isnt worthy of him and doesnt want him to have the misfortune of marrying her

Couples now refuse to have children cause of the high cost and they prefer not to have responsibilities in taking care of a child, and the government cant exactly force them to have kids unless they implement another law which taxes couples with no children more than those with lol but that will drive people not to get married and instead live together lol

So, the Yuhua sect is a gigantic colossus. It is one of the 9 great sects. There are hundreds of smaller sects.

It's one of the naming conventions uses for ancient China, for example when referring to the warring states you can call them Qin State, Zhao State, Wei State, Chu State etc but it isnt wrong to them as Qin, Zhao, Wei and Chu,
It would be neater and nicer to refer to their full title but the translator made the call to shorten it kind of like UK, USA, China instead of their full title The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, The United States of America, The People's Republic of China etc probably for subtitling purposes, too many words wont fit in the timing duration when she said Dali, Dade and Daxu, also they were referred to as Dynasty not Empire

True that. You can't really write all of that in sub-titles and keep up with the speaking, but I pointed it out because it is not like the sect is getting some tribute from any Tom, Dick or Harry. They are getting tribute from several great empires. That tells you how powerful the sect is. In the novel they talk about how nearly 95% of the ones who take the exam to become an outer disciple are all nobles. Many are princes and princesses...by the hundreds. Ordinary people usually can't cultivate up to level 7 without having the resources of some great power backing them up. Plus even though mc is in the Fang clan, he never got any resources from them, but the Fang clan is actually extraordinarily powerful in their kingdom and actually do have the resources to train people up to level 4, 5, 6 & 7 even though few people do.
